Skate Detroit Round-Up + Bonus

Scores are being compiled on the dedicated 2013 Skate Detroit page at Unseen Skaters, including full results for junior and senior pairs and, so far, for the short dance portion of the dance event, featuring Kaitlin Hawayek & Jean-Luc Baker and Chloe Lewis & Logan Bye at juniors and Madison Hubbell & Zach Donohue in their first performance since Hubbell’s concussion in May.

icenetwork.com has provided its usual article and photo coverage from the event, with more promised to come on pairs and dance. A recap of the pairs short program includes Moore-Towers & Moscovitch’s decision to retain last season’s well-received short program, while Mary Beth Marley, in attendance as an assistant coach, was interviewed on her departure from the sport and thoughts of a future return.
