The summer competition season continues in earnest this weekend with two more major regional events: BC Super Series SummerSkate and Skate Canada-Central Ontario (Thornhill) Summer Skate, both opening August 15.
Partnered competition kicks off first with the BC Super Series SummerSkate, with all dance events slated for Thursday and Friday and a line-up that includes national medalists Nicole Orford & Thomas Williams, Madeline Edwards & ZhaoKai Pang, and Danielle Wu & Spencer Soo.
Singles start off Thornhill Summer Skate, with junior pairs and junior and senior dance events set for Saturday afternoon and early Sunday, with competitors including Alexandra Paul & Mitch Islam, Kharis Ralph & Asher Hill, Mackenzie Bent & Garrett Mackeen, and Lauren Collins & Danny Seymour. Both events are scheduled to be streamed live via UStream.
